Games
Institutional pairings that give the regular season shape and stakes. Matchups are determined by geography, history, and rivalry.
Bowl Games
Each Bowl Game is a named, institutionalized rivalry between two specific franchises. The pairing is fixed, so the same two teams play their Bowl Game across many seasons. They are spread through the regular season and carry the weight of a named tradition, returning year to year unless officially dissolved.
Rivalry Week
Rivalry Week is a single designated week to close the regular season. All seven matchups are rivalry pairings and generally determined based on dynamics between ownership. Unlike Bowl Games, the pairings can change year to year. It is the most watched week of the regular season.
